OVERVIEW
Knockwood is a new premier pay-to-play disc golf course located at the 485-acre Santa Fe Lake outdoor recreation facility near the city of Augusta, Kansas. Knockwood is a par-60, 18-hole disc golf course that tests all of your skills with elevation changes, densely wooded technical shots, and water carries. This is not your typical Kansas park course, so plan accordingly.
Hole layouts are attackable with precise placement shots, but will punish your scorecard when you go off the beaten path . Be prepared for a legitimate hike as you explore the prairie grass meadows and backwoods of the Santa Fe Lake and Dry Creek watershed.

Knockwood: Need to Knows
The hiking is legit at Knockwood Disc Golf Course, which traverses the rocky slopes of old mountain bike trials and natural wooded areas. Potential hazards include:
Footwear
Ticks
Poison Ivy
Avoid open-toe shoes. Consider hiking/trail shoes for better grip on uneven terrain and steep slopes.
Beware of ticks in rough, wooded areas and high grass. Repellant is recommended.
Fairways have been sprayed to prevent poison ivy, but this is a natural woodland and you should still take precautions.
Not Cart Friendly
Not Stroller Friendly
Leave wheeled luggage at the airport. Carts won't fly on Knockwood's steep rocky terrain.
Santa Fe Lake has great family amenities, but wheeled strollers are not suitable for Knockwood's terrain.
